Radiation Reduction Meeting with NEI
Jamko will be attending a Radiological Protection Informational Meeting at NEI headquarters to discuss a possible revision of the NRC's radiation protection regulations. The NRC is considering a reduction in the radiation exposure limit for occupational workers from 5 rem per year to 2 rem per year.
Jamko will meet with representatives from NRC, NEI, and EPRI to gather information on how the possible reduction affects companies like ours who provide supplemental expertise during outages.
