Hiring Process

Jamko offers several different avenues to apply for jobs. Although the process for certain positions might vary, our typical hiring process is described below.

All resumes submitted in response to opportunities posted on our Web site will be reviewed. After all candidates are considered, those candidates who best meet the qualifications will be contacted for an interview.

Some positions might require more than one interview. Once an interview is scheduled, candidates are asked to complete a Jamko employment application. All interviewed candidates will be notified of their status at the completion of the interviewing process.

If the candidate accepts the offer, a drug screen is scheduled; a background check is conducted; and, when applicable, a physical examination is scheduled. Note that all offers are contingent on successful pre-employment drug screens and background checks, which typically take approximately two weeks to complete.

During this time, a letter providing the details of the position and new-employee orientation is sent to the successful candidate.
