Dominion Signs Fleet Contract

Dominion nuclear stations (Millstone, North Anna & Surry) have been working with Jamko (NSD) for several years performing various services for its Nuclear Units. Until now these services have been performed under individual contracts per the service requested by each unit. This means individual purchase orders have been required for each service to be performed. Writing individual purchase orders for repeat services and many different vendors to perform those services has proven to be a very time consuming and in-efficient way of doing business.

"Many of our customer / utility partners are looking for a way to better manage procuring services that are required for their facilities" (says Frank Barilla –Jamko South East Operations Manager) "The industry as a whole is taking many steps to streamline the procurement process. More and more utilities are looking to reduce the hundreds of vendors they have to deal with and the many purchase orders that have to be written, approved and pushed through the supply chain management processes".

With all of the emphasis that is put on departmental budgets and efficiency "ease of contract" within the industry, we have developed a standardized General Services Agreement (GSA) that provides a way for our partner utilities to reach their goal of attaining supply chain efficiency. We have recently signed a 3 year (GSA) fleet contract with Dominion that can be utilized to provide services to all Dominion Nuclear and Fossil Fuel facilities. This contract provides a list of all services offered by Jamko, a standardized pricing list for those services and a volume based discount structure that was developed to ensure this fleet contract was a benefit to both parties.

• Reactor Vessel Top Head Bare Metal & CRDM and Bottom Mounted Instrumentation Inspection
• Steam Generator FOSAR and Inspection Serivces
• Sea Water / Service Water Piping Inspections
• Balance of Plant (BOP) & Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) Pipe\Tank Inspection & Cleaning
• IWE \ IWL Containment Integrity Inspection
• Turbine “Cleanout” Foreign Material Verification
• High Pressure Water Blasting \ High Volume Vacuum Services
• CO2 Dry Ice Cleaning and Abrasive Sand Blasting Services
• Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) Component Close Out Inspections
• Design Engineering and Custom Tooling Development
• Mock-up Fabrication and System Integration
• Staff Augmentation Project Management and On-Site Technical Support Workers
