NY Senator Gillibrand Discusses Job Creation with Jamko

Jamko announces the recent visit from representatives of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to discuss job creation and the retention of local talent in upstate New York.

“Bright Flight,” the departure of young professionals from a region, has long been a concern in upstate New York. Recently, Jamko attended a forum at the University of Rochester with local colleges, businesses and government officials to discuss ideas that would address this issue.

The declining job growth for more than a decade in this region is accelerating the hemorrhaging of young professionals graduating from local universities.
