Culvert System Inspection | Job Date: June 2004
The Objective
Popli Consulting Engineers needed approximately 160 culverts inspection for The New York State Thruway Authority rehabilitation project between exits 45 and 46. Additional cleaning of culverts may be required upon initial inspection by engineers.
The Solution
The JIS crew was able to inspect each culvert of the rehabilitation project using crawlers and pole cameras. Jamko was also able to remove debris from culverts that were blocked and could not be inspected. Jamko performed these tasks by minimizing lane closures to ensure proper traffic flow.
The Results
- The work scope was completed to customer satisfaction.
- The rehabilitation project was able to resume without delay.
