The Objective
AES Greenidge Station Coal Plant had an emergency shut down and needed remote visual inspection services to view the inside of LCO Diesel Generator Lines to determine valve condition with out having to disassemble each valve system.
The Solution
The Jamko crew was able to deploy quickly to the site with the necessary equipment. The JIS crew used a borescope to inspect the condition of 7 main steam stop valves inside the Diesel Generator Lines without disassembling each valve system.
The Results
- AES Greenidge was able to view area of concern.
- Minimal down time was required to fix problem.
