Jamko knows your site cannot afford any unnecessary downtime. We specialize in time and cost savings by providing a means of inspection without making a manned-entry, which makes confined spaces an ideal situation for remote visual inspections (RVI).
Sewer Pipe Inspection | Service Intake Pipe Inspection
Remote visual inspection may be used exclusively to quickly and accurately diagnose pipe discontinuities, such as cracks, breaks or debris that may cause failure to your system. Our diverse collection of robotic crawlers can also locate laterals, tie-ins, manholes and valves that have not been mapped.
Our crawlers vary in size to inspect pipe from 4 in diameter to 36 in diameter and can travel over 600 feet. Jamko is also equipped for pipe smaller than 4in diameter with various push cameras and video scopes for inspections. Our team of experienced operators deliver professional images, audio & video with location, time/date and footage data.
Tank Weld Inspection | Boiler Tube Inspection
Refineries and process facilities are filled with hundreds of tanks and vessels. In the past, inspections required a manned entry. This would entail an entry permit, safety training and equipment, and an entry watch. This could cost upwards of ten thousand dollars per entry.
With the aid of a Pan & Tilt zoom camera, Jamko technicians are able to accomplish this task in a timely, and cost efficient manner. Our Pan & Tilt zoom cameras are waterproof up to 100 feet, have on-board lighting, and can zoom down to 2 square inches. So the next time you need to inspect a tank or vessel, let one of our technicians gather the quality data you need to meet the API regulatory guidelines.
In the past crawlers that could not inspect lines over 600ft in length. Jamko recognized that a better solution was needed to inspection lines greater than 600ft. Our team of engineers have developed the Groundhog Cam to inspect lines that are up to 2000ft in length.
O'Brien & Gere needed sewer lines and laterals inspected and cleaned at Green Haven Correctional Facility to determine the condition and identify any areas of concern (damage to pipe or build-up of debris). Approximately 25,000ft of 2in to 24in sewer pipe needs to be video taped and documented.
Using the Vactor with 3000 PSI at 60-80 GPM the JIS crew jetted and vacuumed each sewer line in and around the facility. The JIS crew was then able to use its remotely operated pipe crawler to document the cleanliness of the pipe and locate any damage or discontinuities which included a footage counter to determine the length of a pipe.
“Not only was your team very porfessional, they all have great personalities and it was a real pleasure working with them.”
