Leachate Line Inspection & Cleaning  |  Job Date: November 2005

Rodman Solid Waste Facility

The Objective

The Rodman Solid Waste Facility needed its leachate drainage system inspected to determine the condition of its 15,000ft of pipe. After the initial inspection was complete, the tapes were reviewed by the facility supervisors to determine which lines needed to be cleaned. Each line cleaned would then need to be inspected again to verify results of cleaning.

The Solution

Jamko inspected each of the six primary cleanouts and main header with our pull camera. After the site reviewed the tapes, the crew jetted several lines with the Vactor truck to remove any debris or build-up inside the lines. Each line that was cleaned was then inspected again for customer review.

The Results

  • Completed inspection and cleaning to customer satisfaction.
  • Inspected and removed build-up and debris that had a potential of causing problems to the leachate drainage system.
