Leachate Line Cleaning & Inspection | Job Date: October 2005
The Objective
Ontario County Landfill, needed Phase III of their leachate piping system cleaned and inspected. Phase III is a series of 4 manholes connected by cleanouts with leachate lines flowing into each. Debris was blocking the flow and causing the other lines to back-up as well.
The Solution
The JIS crew was able to clean and remove debris from the leachate lines using our Vactor trucks jetting capabilities. Then each line was inspected by our experienced technicians using our remote crawler system to video tape the leachate lines verifying that the lines were free from debris and build-up.
The Results
- All the leachate lines were completed for the Fall maintenance schedule to the customers satisfaction.
- Removed debris that was blocking the flow from other manholes.
