Leachate Line Cleaning & Inspection | Job Date: Fall 2005
The Objective
Seneca Meadows Landfill, requires yearly maintenance cleaning and inspection of approx. 14,000 feet of leachate piping system. This yearly maintenance helps prevent debris and build-up to cause slow down and/or major damage to the system.
The Solution
The JIS crew cleaned the leachate lines using our high pressure water blasting hose on our Vactor truck. Then each line was inspected by our experienced technicians using our remote crawler system to video tape the leachate lines verifying that the leachate lines were free from debris and build-up.
The Results
- All the leachate lines were completed for the Fall maintenance schedule to the customers satisfaction.
- Prevented potential risk of system failure during the Winter months.
